I Survived!

No worries blog world, I did survive the over night stay with 4 small children & a husband! The Wilderness was a ton of fun for all of the kids - Ella, my jumpy scaredy-cat, went down as many slides as she possibly could. She slept the entire 2+ hour trip home right through a gas stop and an Addy crying episode. I was quite surprised that Bren didn't want to join her on the slides. He does have this pretty hilarious 'afraid face' that somehow has escaped the camera. Being that it was a waterpark, we didn't get very many pictures of the actual water fun. One of the funniest things was that every time Connor put on his suit he needed to announce very loud, "I peed on those shorts." Oh my word, as funny as it was; that got old (and yes, I did wash them before we left). Definitely a fun trip for the kiddos - lots of work for mom & dad, but so worth it we are thinking of making it a winter tradition.

All 4 kids ready to hit the water park for the first time.
I felt guilty giving the kids mini corn dogs, chicken tenders & french fries for dinner, but they thought it was pretty cool.

Roo ohhhh ... Mom forgot to pack toys so the diaper bag had to suffice

Addy sleeping on the way home ... first time in 24 hours that she slept without being attached

Addy & Connor had a blast in the little kids play land, she liked this giant cobra thingy.

Lots of fun tunnels to crawl through

The ride was a little over 2 hours, after a long 2 hours we look back to see Bren faking sleeping. We were on HWY 41, 2 exits from home ...

Connor hitting the mini slides

It was fun to look out the windows at all the snow and splashing in the water.

We passed through a bunch of windmills and this was a hit on the way there.
